Free Google Wave invitations

Have you heard of Google Wave yet?
I guess most of you answered with a definite YES. For you two ignorant goat herdsmen, who haven't heard of it yet due to a busy goat herding season or something, it is time to get out of your cave and take a look at Wave's interesting features directly from members of the Google team.

Even if it might seem this thing has nothing to do with blogging and even less with photography, that is not the case.
Google Wave is a powerful communication platform which among other features also allows you to automatically publish your communications (interactions or "waves" as they are called) on your blog. You can also easily share your photos with your friends.
These are just a couple of the features that Google Wave offers. If you want to know more, simply go to wave.google.com and check it out for yourself.

Let me finally get to the point... Recently I have been invited to use Google Wave and awarded a few invitations myself. I have 5 invitations left and since Santa Claus spirit is in the air I decided to give them away to my readers.

If you are interested simply leave your request with an email address in a comment to this post.

I already have it (so I don't need one of your invites) but I have to confess I've found it a bit awkward to use, so far. I don't think I've yet found the 'killer' use that makes it indispensible to me.

They do advertise it as almost the best thing since the invention of the wheel.
I am also skeptical about various predictions that it is supposed to wipe out every other electronic communication channel we use today (including FB and Skype).

I haven't used it much so far, so I can't judge it yet. Well, let's wait and see...

I love the Rosy Etta app!

Haven't found a site that's giving away the invites yet. These guys are having a contest though.

Hmmm, it seems the demand for these invitations isn't all that huge...

I guess people have too much of such applications as it is. Google will actually have to offer some great new features to make a breakthrough. I hope they actually do have something up their sleeves.

I'd love an invitation. I want to use it to communicate with other members of the band I'm in so that we can discuss set lists and song structures when we're not face to face. Of course, I'll have to convince them to get Google Wave as well...!

Thanks in advance,

@Crazed singer!:
It's on the way.

That's an excellent idea! I'll suggest it to my brother, who is also quite active in the band area.

If you are interested, you can check out his blog at tuba-blogging.blogspot.com.

In my post I stated that only the first five of you my readers will get invites.
Since in the meantime Google has been so kind to award me more of the invites, everyone shall have one (until I run out of them).

Happy holidays to everyone!
